Dominick Azevedo has been appointed as the Chief Sales Officer of Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB), a prominent sleep company.
Azevedo will assume his new role in late June and will be responsible for leading the sales function within the organization.
SSB aims to enhance its strategic initiatives, including commercial excellence and strengthening retail partnerships. With Azevedo’s expertise in merchandising and generating sales growth, the company expects to accelerate these efforts and solidify its leadership position in the market.
Azevedo, who brings over 30 years of experience in bedding marketing, merchandising, and sales, previously served in leadership roles at companies like City Mattress, E.S. Kluft & Company, and Simmons Bedding Company.
Derek Miller, the current Chief Sales Officer, will transition to a new role overseeing key national accounts under Azevedo’s leadership. SSB acknowledges Miller’s contributions and commitment to the company over the past 25 years.
