Karol Wrobel, an executive with3D visualization platform Intiaro and his wife, Katia, an attorney in Warsaw, are organizing a fundraising initiative to help deliver of medical equipment and supplies to Ukraine during the ongoing conflict overseas.
The money will go towards products such as bandages, disposable gloves, gauze dressings, sterile surgical gloves, syringes, laryngeal masks, pain medication, and antibiotics. In addition, the effort will help raise money to distribute things like blankets, clothing, and socks.
The Wrobel’s former colleague, Heorhiy Fatuyev, who worked with them for many years in Warsaw, Nokia, Microsoft, and HMD Global offices being responsible for sales in Ukraine, decided to go back to his home country.Â
And being in the middle of the war in Kyiv, he asked the Wrobels for help with collecting medical supplies.
“We all wanted to help and started immediately with the collection, and the day after we completed the first order the initial transport left Warsaw,” the Wrobels said in a release. “We knew that we needed to act fast, as the situation changes from hour to hour.
