On Saturday, Aug. 21, at the South Point Hotel and Casino, Ante4autism set a new record by raising over $150,000 at their 13th annual Ante4autism event.
That raises the grand total for all 13 years to over $1 million raised.
“I feel incredibly energized by all the support we have received over these past 13 years,” says founder Doug Krinsky. “To be able to create awareness about Autism and raise this kind of money to help and support our kids and families through these Autism charities is just tremendous!”
The winner of the 2021 Apollo Jett Grand Champion trophy this year was Chip Jett, and Krinsky says there was a great turnout for the event.
The South Point Grandview Lounge played host to celebrities, professional poker players, furniture industry sponsors, and many local Las Vegas players. There was a live auction, silent auction, and plenty of action at the tables. “The excitement in the room was felt by everyone,” Krinsky adds.
The five Autism charities that will receive the net proceeds from the 13th Ante4autism event are Rich Center for Autism, Cincinnati Center for Autism, F.E.A.T. – Families for Effective Autism Treatments of Southern Nevada, National Autism Association of Southeast Ohio and Autism Speaks.
