Ante4Autism event moves to August

One in 59 children is diagnosed with autism in the U.S., and autism spectrum disorder is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the country—more common than childhood cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined.

That’s why the annual Ante4Autism Poker event—which raises money to help families and individuals impacted by autism—was started.

This year, in order to allow more time for attendees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, the 13th-annual event has been moved to August and will be held during the summer Las Vegas Market.

Any prepaid registered players that would like a refund or any sponsors that would like a refund due to the change of dates should talk to Doug Krinsky at Ante4autism@aol.com.

“We would be happy to refund any sponsors and/or players that cannot make the new event,” Krinsky says. “We felt as a host committee that it was best to delay the event and give everyone that wanted to a chance to receive the vaccine prior to our event. We consulted with our Presenting Sponsor (Leggett & Platt) and Final Table sponsor (Symbol Mattress) and they agreed 100% the move was the right thing to do.”

The Ante4Autism committeewill follow all Nevada health advisories and observe all CDC protocols at the event, and players can sign up to play on the website, ante4autism.com and sponsors can choose from the five levels of sponsorships again this year on the site.

If you would like to sponsor or donate to the 13th Annual Ante4autism event in 2021, visit Ante4autism.com or email Krinsky. He can also be reached at 614-554-0802.
